• Signal to companies and policy makers that farm animal welfare is an important issue for them and for their clients through signing the Global Investor Statement on Farm Animal Welfare.
• Assess how well individual companies are managing farm animal welfare through accessing company-specific reports on farm animal welfare.
• Assess how individual companies compare to their sector peers, to identify leaders and laggards on farm animal welfare.
• Engage with companies on farm animal welfare. BBFAW has produced a short guide on how investors can use the Benchmark in their engagement with companies.
• Join with other investors in the Global Investor Collaboration on Farm Animal Welfare.
