Governance

BBFAW is governed by an independent secretariat, which is responsible for providing a programme executive director and other resources necessary to coordinate the development of the Benchmark, to conduct the annual company research and evaluations, and to manage the accompanying dialogue with companies and other stakeholders.

The programme is supported by the BBFAW’s founding partner, Compassion in World Farming and supporting partner, FOUR PAWS, who provide technical expertise, guidance, funding and practical resources.
